Since 1999, Bluemercury has steadily built an empire across the country as a luxury beauty product retailer, but we Oregonians haven't had the, er, luxury of being able to stroll into a shop.
That changed with August 2's Grand Opening of the beauty brand's first Oregon location at Bridgeport Village.
If you've had the opportunity to visit one of Bluemercury's shops nationwide, you'll know the highlight of each visit is not the ample inventory and knowledgeable staff, but their desire to pair you with the right product. Yes, we're talking about samples, folks.
The Bluemercury attitude is they would rather send you home with a bunch of samples until you fall in love with a product rather than push something you aren't crazy about. And given how much some of us spend on beauty products, that matters.
