WHAT: Having experienced first-hand the challenges of finding vendors to cater to the cultural demands for her own Eritrean-American wedding, Beri Gebrehiwot of online site Bella Bride Africa paired up with Karen Okonkwo of Party with a K to create a first-of-its-kind show linking future brides to a network of specialized vendors to bring cherished traditions to life on their special day. The result: an alternative to the traditional wedding show set to cater to the specific needs of multicultural weddings.

Her Big Day: A Cultural Wedding Affair will showcase a mix of classic and trend-setting culture, fashion, and hair for every type of wedding. From the perfect white dress to a vast and varied display of traditional wedding garments from all over the world, this show creates a custom one-stop shop for brides to plan the budget, wedding party needs, family accommodations, décor, and more for bringing individual cultural heritage to the ceremony, reception, and everything in between.

WHEN: The Pacific Northwest’s first-ever cultural wedding and fashion show will take place on January 31, 2016. Tickets are $10 and available online now.
