Trend Spotting: Bridal Caftans
By Tessa Woolf
Somewhere in between the dashiki, muumuu, and poncho hangs the caftan, a hot-weather garment often worn in Moroccan weddings. Bridal designer Elizabeth Dye—based in Portland, Oregon—included the global style in her new Painted Desert Collection. The exotic looks are right in line with the adventurous, gathered-from-my-world-travels aesthetic that’s currently trending in fashion, home decor, and now weddings.
We’re crushing on the Silvermine Caftan, which layers over the Silvermine Gown, and the Sonora Caftan Gown. Shop Elizabeth Dye at The Dress Theory.
