Bejeweled Blitz

Lush berry tones, rich, winey reds, and regal plums—Madison Hartley of Hart Floral Design enlivened her luxurious color palette with fritillaria, ranunculus, hellebore, anemones, sweet peas, andromeda, jasmine vine, and carnations. “I love creating designs that showcase unique flowers and movement with soft transitions of colors,” Hartley says.

Cool Grace

Inspired by a cool, soft color palette made up of old-fashioned garden blooms, Jordan Gladow of Blüm Design in Flowers reached for sweet peas, ranunculus, anemones, Muscari, Erengium, eucalyptus, hyacinth, and dusty miller in her voluptuous arrangement. “I like the contrast of a color scheme that may feel like one season, with floral varieties from another,” Gladow says. “To me, that feels really interesting and fresh.”

Flush Blush

When it comes to romance, no family of hues says it better than pink. Incorporating those blush tones with rose gold, almond, and a soft peach, Anna Jorgensen of Anna Mara Flowers interwove tulip magnolia branches, sweet peas, ranunculus, garden roses, astilbe, stock, carnations, and spray roses in her dreamy arrangement. “These tones have a way of conveying bright and soft at the same time,” Jorgensen says. “Sweet and ruffly sweet peas give the bouquet movement, while the garden roses just fully embrace romance, and astilbe gives off a starry magical look that lightens the density of the fuller, bigger blooms.”

Monochromatic Dramatics

Add some subtle drama to your big day with textured florals in varying shades of white, cream, and ivory. For her bouquet, Jeri Barr of Bella Bloom Florals gathered garden and spray roses, Japanese ranunculus, lilacs, stock, gunni and seeded eucalyptus, dusty miller, lisianthus, hydrangea, hyacinth, and tulips in a soft palette with a big impact. “I wanted to create a luxury bouquet with both texture and movement,” she says. “When creating a white bouquet, we love to use multiple shades of white, plenty of texture, and several different bloom types to add depth.”

Pro tip: “Using a large mass flower like white hydrangea can be a great way to use less blooms and still get a sizable bouquet,” Barr notes. “This allows us to weave other blooms into the hydrangea base, giving each specialty flower (like the Japanese ranunculus) plenty of space to be showcased.”

Have It Here

Nobody does a vineyard wedding quite like Maysara Winery in McMinnville. Nestled within 532 acres of ambling grapevines (the biodynamic Momtazi vineyard is a favorite of local pinot noir producers), the property features several ceremony and reception options—imagine an alfresco feast along the grape-scented grounds, or dancing the night away under the vaulted ceiling of the cool, stone-and-wood winery. It accommodates parties large or small (up to 299 people!) with a rustic, wine-filled sophistication that oozes Pacific Northwest charm.
