How to submit your wedding for consideration

E-Mail Submission Instructions

Submit a selection of 30-60 photos as a folder or a link (ideally Dropbox or a post on your blog) to realweddings@portlandbrideandgroom.com—do not send images individually as attachments. See the instructions above for the type of pictures we want, although they don’t have to be hi-res; we can request the hi-res images if your wedding is selected.

Brides, Grooms, and Vendors other than Photographers: If you are the one submitting, your entry MUST include the following:

  1. The couple’s wedding date, location, and where they are currently living.
  2. The signed Photography Releasewe will not look at your entry unless the form is included, as it means the photographer is aware of your submission and will approve the use of the selected photos in the magazine. You may include the other paperwork (Model Release, Real Weddings Q & A + Vendor List—see instructions above) if you choose. You may also wait to fill it out if we inform you that your wedding has been selected; however, you will only have five days from the time we inform you, so plan ahead.

Photographers: If you are the one submitting, you may e-mail folders or links for as many weddings as you like, either separately or in a single email. Your entry MUST include the following:

  1. The couple’s wedding date, location, and where they are currently living.
  2. The signed Photography Releasewe will not look at your entry unless the form is included, as it means you approve our terms. You may include the other paperwork (Model Release, Real Weddings Q & A + Vendor List—see instructions above) if you choose. You may also wait to have the couple fill it out if we inform you that their wedding has been selected; however, you will only have five days from the time we inform you, so make sure the couple is aware of your submission and the timing.

Due to the large volume of submissions that we receive, we are not able to individually respond to each. Selections are announced by their appearance in the magazine. Please note that we DO NOT select weddings prior to our deadline; if you've been accepted by another Oregon- or Washington-based publication, congratulations! Simply let us know and we will withdraw your submission from consideration. Thank you for your interest—we can't wait to see your unique day!
